The Commonwealth and NSW governments have announced a new small business support grant of $10,000, to cover small business loss of income.
Eligible small businesses in Queanbeyan-Palerang affected directly and indirectly by recent bushfires can now apply for a grant of $10,000 to assist with the costs of maintaining their businesses. This may include – but is not limited to – accessing financial advice, covering salaries, wages, utilities, and fuel. Businesses must have experienced a 40 per cent drop in revenue over a three-month period, compared to the previous year, as a result of the bushfires.
Small businesses who have received assistance under other grants or initiatives may also be eligible for this grant.
Further eligibility criteria and the application form will be available in the coming days. Check back in on our page for future updates.
