QPRC has teamed up with ‘Help A Small Biz’ to connect local small businesses affected by the bushfires with professional service businesses, who have donated their time and expertise to the recovery effort.
Small businesses can get involved by submitting their needs through either https://helpasmallbiz.com/ or QPRC’s Economic Development Officer. Local businesses’ needs are then matched against those services which have been offered by participating service businesses.
If a business in need is matched with a business which can assist, then both parties liaise directly with each other to arrange for the provision of skills or services or delivery of goods needed, including the risk, insurance, upkeep, transportation, maintenance or costs of such skills, services and/or goods.
The services available to local small businesses in the bushfire affected areas include:
- Marketing & Communications
- Social media
- Graphic design & copywriting
- Website
- Administrative support
- Grant writing
- IT/Tech support
- Finance & Budgeting
- Event management
- Business coaching/mentoring
- Business strategy
- Business continuity plans
If you are a small business in a bushfire affected area you are eligible to access these services.
If you would like to access these services register at https://helpasmallbiz.com/ or contact Colin Grant, our Economic Development Officer, at colin.grant@qprc.nsw.gov.au or on 0428 219 037.
